كتاب تقصير الصلاة
Rapporté par Hafs bin `Asim : Ibn `Umar est parti en voyage et a dit : « J’ai accompagné le Prophète (ﷺ) et il n’accomplissait pas de prières surérogatoires pendant le voyage, et Allah dit : ‘En vérité, dans le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) vous avez un bel exemple à suivre.’ »

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَنَّ حَفْصَ بْنَ عَاصِمٍ، حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ سَافَرَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ فَقَالَ صَحِبْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَلَمْ أَرَهُ يُسَبِّحُ فِي السَّفَرِ، وَقَالَ اللَّهُ جَلَّ ذِكْرُهُ {لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ}.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Hafs bin `Asim:Ibn `Umar went on a journey and said, "I accompanied the Prophet (ﷺ) and he did not offer optional prayers during the journey, and Allah says: 'Verily! In Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) you have a good example to follow

ہم سے یحییٰ بن سلیمان کوفی نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے عبداللہ بن وہب نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے عمر بن محمد بن یزید نے بیان کیا کہ حفص بن عاصم بن عمر نے ان سے بیان کیا کہ میں نے سفر میں سنتوں کے متعلق عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے پوچھا آپ نے فرمایا کہ میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی صحبت میں رہا ہوں۔ میں نے آپ کو سفر میں کبھی سنتیں پڑھتے نہیں دیکھا اور اللہ جل ذکرہ کا ارشاد ہے کہ تمہارے لیے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی زندگی بہترین نمونہ ہے۔
