Hadith 951 — Livre 13: The Two Festivals (Eids)
كتاب العيدين
Rapporté par Al-Bara' : J’ai entendu le Prophète (ﷺ) prononcer un sermon en disant : « La première chose à faire aujourd’hui (le premier jour de l’`Id al-Adha), c’est de prier ; puis, en rentrant de la prière, nous sacrifions nos animaux (au nom d’Allah). Celui qui fait cela suit notre tradition. »

حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي زُبَيْدٌ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَخْطُبُ فَقَالَ " إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا نَبْدَأُ مِنْ يَوْمِنَا هَذَا أَنْ نُصَلِّيَ، ثُمَّ نَرْجِعَ فَنَنْحَرَ، فَمَنْ فَعَلَ فَقَدْ أَصَابَ سُنَّتَنَا ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Al-Bara':I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) delivering a Khutba saying, "The first thing to be done on this day (first day of `Id ul Adha) is to pray; and after returning from the prayer we slaughter our sacrifices (in the name of Allah) and whoever does so, he acted according to our Sunna (traditions)
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے حجاج بن منہال نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، انہیں زبید بن حارث نے خبر دی، انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے شعبی سے سنا، ان سے براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عید کے دن خطبہ دیتے ہوئے فرمایا کہ پہلا کام جو ہم آج کے دن ( عید الاضحیٰ ) میں کرتے ہیں، یہ ہے کہ پہلے ہم نماز پڑھیں پھر واپس آ کر قربانی کریں۔ جس نے اس طرح کیا وہ ہمارے طریق پر چلا۔
