كتاب الأذان
Rapporté par Anas ibn Malik : Je n’ai jamais prié derrière un imam une prière plus légère et plus parfaite que celle derrière le Prophète (ﷺ). Il raccourcissait la prière dès qu’il entendait les pleurs d’un enfant, de peur de mettre la mère de l’enfant dans l’embarras

حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلاَلٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَقُولُ مَا صَلَّيْتُ وَرَاءَ إِمَامٍ قَطُّ أَخَفَّ صَلاَةً وَلاَ أَتَمَّ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَإِنْ كَانَ لَيَسْمَعُ بُكَاءَ الصَّبِيِّ فَيُخَفِّفُ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ تُفْتَنَ أُمُّهُ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Anas bin Malik:I never prayed behind any Imam a prayer lighter and more perfect than that behind the Prophet (ﷺ) and he used to cut short the prayer whenever he heard the cries of a child lest he should put the child's mother to trial

ہم سے خالد بن مخلد نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے سلیمان بن بلال نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے شریک بن عبداللہ بن ابی نمر قریشی نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، انہوں نے بتلایا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے زیادہ ہلکی لیکن کامل نماز میں نے کسی امام کے پیچھے کبھی نہیں پڑھی۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا یہ حال تھا کہ اگر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بچے کے رونے کی آواز سن لیتے تو اس خیال سے کہ اس کی ماں کہیں پریشانی میں نہ مبتلا ہو جائے نماز مختصر کر دیتے۔
