Rapporté par Nafi‘ : Ibn ‘Umar a dit : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Si le dîner est servi à l’un de vous et que l’Iqama est prononcé, commencez par le dîner et ne vous pressez pas (continuez à manger) jusqu’à ce que vous ayez fini. » Si on servait à manger à Ibn ‘Umar et que l’Iqama était prononcé, il n’allait jamais à la prière avant d’avoir fini de manger, même s’il entendait la récitation du Coran par l’imam

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِذَا وُضِعَ عَشَاءُ أَحَدِكُمْ وَأُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاَةُ فَابْدَءُوا بِالْعَشَاءِ، وَلاَ يَعْجَلْ حَتَّى يَفْرُغَ مِنْهُ ". وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يُوضَعُ لَهُ الطَّعَامُ وَتُقَامُ الصَّلاَةُ فَلاَ يَأْتِيهَا حَتَّى يَفْرُغَ، وَإِنَّهُ لَيَسْمَعُ قِرَاءَةَ الإِمَامِ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Nafi`:Ibn `Umar said, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, 'If the supper is served for anyone of you and the Iqama is pronounced, start with the supper and don't be in haste (and carry on eating) till you finish it." If food was served for Ibn `Umar and Iqama was pronounced, he never came to the prayer till he finished it (i.e. food) in spite of the fact that he heard the recitation (of the Qur'an) by the Imam (in the prayer)

ہم سے عبید بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا ابواسامہ حماد بن اسامہ سے، انہوں نے عبیداللہ سے، انہوں نے نافع سے، انہوں نے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ جب تم میں سے کسی کا شام کا کھانا تیار ہو چکا ہو اور تکبیر بھی کہی جا چکی ہو تو پہلے کھانا کھا لو اور نماز کے لیے جلدی نہ کرو، کھانے سے فراغت کر لو۔ اور عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے لیے کھانا رکھ دیا جاتا، ادھر اقامت بھی ہو جاتی لیکن آپ کھانے سے فارغ ہونے تک نماز میں شریک نہیں ہوتے تھے۔ آپ امام کی قرآت برابر سنتے رہتے تھے۔
