Rapporté par Humaid : On a demandé à Anas : « Est-ce que le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) portait une bague ? » Il a répondu : « Oui. Un jour, il a retardé la prière du ‘Isha jusqu’à minuit. Après la prière, il s’est tourné vers nous et a dit : “Les gens ont prié et sont allés dormir, et vous, vous êtes restés en prière tant que vous attendiez celle-ci.” » Anas a ajouté : « J’ai l’impression de voir encore le brillant de sa bague. »

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالَ سُئِلَ أَنَسٌ هَلِ اتَّخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَاتَمًا فَقَالَ نَعَمْ، أَخَّرَ لَيْلَةً صَلاَةَ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِ، ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْنَا بِوَجْهِهِ بَعْدَ مَا صَلَّى فَقَالَ " صَلَّى النَّاسُ وَرَقَدُوا وَلَمْ تَزَالُوا فِي صَلاَةٍ مُنْذُ انْتَظَرْتُمُوهَا ". قَالَ فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ خَاتَمِهِ.

Narrated Humaid:Anas was asked, "Did Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) wear a ring?" He said, "Yes. Once he delayed the `Isha' prayer till midnight and after the prayer, he faced us and said, 'The people prayed and have slept and you remained in prayer as long as you waited for it.' " Anas added, "As if I were just now observing the glitter of his ring

ہم سے قتیبہ بن سعید نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے اسماعیل بن جعفر نے بیان کیا حمید طویل سے، انہوں نے کہا کہ انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے دریافت کیا گیا کہ کیا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کوئی انگوٹھی پہنی ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا کہ ہاں! ایک رات عشاء کی نماز میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے آدھی رات تک دیر کی۔ نماز کے بعد ہماری طرف متوجہ ہوئے اور فرمایا، لوگ نماز پڑھ کر سو چکے ہوں گے۔ اور تم لوگ اس وقت تک نماز ہی کی حالت میں تھے جب تک تم نماز کا انتظار کرتے رہے۔ انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا جیسے اس وقت میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی انگوٹھی کی چمک دیکھ رہا ہوں ( یعنی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی انگوٹھی کی چمک کا سماں میری آنکھوں میں ہے ) ۔
