كتاب الأذان
Rapporté par Malik bin Huwairith : Je suis venu voir le Prophète (ﷺ) avec quelques hommes de ma tribu et nous sommes restés avec lui pendant vingt nuits. Il a été gentil et miséricordieux avec nous. Quand il a vu que nous avions envie de retrouver nos familles, il nous a dit : « Retournez auprès de vos familles, restez avec elles, enseignez-leur la religion et accomplissez la prière. Que l’un de vous fasse l’Adhan pour la prière à l’heure, et que le plus âgé d’entre vous dirige la prière. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ، أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي نَفَرٍ مِنْ قَوْمِي فَأَقَمْنَا عِنْدَهُ عِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً، وَكَانَ رَحِيمًا رَفِيقًا، فَلَمَّا رَأَى شَوْقَنَا إِلَى أَهَالِينَا قَالَ " ارْجِعُوا فَكُونُوا فِيهِمْ وَعَلِّمُوهُمْ وَصَلُّوا، فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلاَةُ فَلْيُؤَذِّنْ لَكُمْ أَحَدُكُمْ وَلْيَؤُمَّكُمْ أَكْبَرُكُمْ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Malik bin Huwairith:I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) with some men from my tribe and stayed with him for twenty nights. He was kind and merciful to us. When he realized our longing for our families, he said to us, "Go back and stay with your families and teach them the religion, and offer the prayer and one of you should pronounce the Adhan for the prayer when its time is due and the oldest one amongst you should lead the prayer

ہم سے معلی بن سعد اسد بصریٰ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے وہیب بن خالد نے ابوایوب سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے ابوقلابہ سے، انہوں نے مالک بن حویرث رضی اللہ عنہ سے، کہا کہ میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں اپنی قوم ( بنی لیث ) کے چند آدمیوں کے ساتھ حاضر ہوا اور میں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت شریف میں بیس راتوں تک قیام کیا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بڑے رحم دل اور ملنسار تھے۔ جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمارے اپنے گھر پہنچنے کا شوق محسوس کر لیا تو فرمایا کہ اب تم جا سکتے ہو۔ وہاں جا کر اپنی قوم کو دین سکھاؤ اور ( سفر میں ) نماز پڑھتے رہنا۔ جب نماز کا وقت آ جائے تو تم میں سے ایک شخص اذان دے اور جو تم میں سب سے بڑا ہو وہ امامت کرائے۔
