Hadith 4449 — Livre 40: Prescribed Punishments (Kitab Al-Hudud)

Rapporté par Abdullah Ibn Umar رضي الله عنه : Un groupe de juifs vint inviter le Messager d’Allah ﷺ à Quff. Il alla donc les voir dans leur école. Ils dirent : « AbulQasim, l’un de nos hommes a commis la fornication avec une femme ; prononce donc un jugement sur eux. » Ils placèrent un coussin pour le Messager d’Allah ﷺ qui s’assit dessus et dit : « Apportez la Torah. » On l’apporta. Il retira alors le coussin de dessous lui et posa la Torah dessus en disant : « J’ai foi en toi et en Celui qui t’a révélée. » Puis il dit : « Amenez-moi l’un de vos savants. » On amena alors un jeune homme. Le transmetteur mentionna ensuite le reste du récit de la lapidation, similaire à celui transmis par Malik d’après Nafi’

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، أَنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَسْلَمَ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ أَتَى نَفَرٌ مِنْ يَهُودَ فَدَعَوْا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَى الْقُفِّ فَأَتَاهُمْ فِي بَيْتِ الْمِدْرَاسِ فَقَالُوا يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ إِنَّ رَجُلاً مِنَّا زَنَى بِامْرَأَةٍ فَاحْكُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ فَوَضَعُوا لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وِسَادَةً فَجَلَسَ عَلَيْهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ " ائْتُونِي بِالتَّوْرَاةِ " . فَأُتِيَ بِهَا فَنَزَعَ الْوِسَادَةَ مِنْ تَحْتِهِ فَوَضَعَ التَّوْرَاةَ عَلَيْهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ " آمَنْتُ بِكِ وَبِمَنْ أَنْزَلَكِ " . ثُمَّ قَالَ " ائْتُونِي بِأَعْلَمِكُمْ " . فَأُتِيَ بِفَتًى شَابٍّ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ قِصَّةَ الرَّجْمِ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abdullah Ibn Umar: A group of Jews came and invited the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to Quff. So he visited them in their school. They said: AbulQasim, one of our men has committed fornication with a woman; so pronounce judgment upon them. They placed a cushion for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) who sat on it and said: Bring the Torah. It was then brought. He then withdrew the cushion from beneath him and placed the Torah on it saying: I believed in thee and in Him Who revealed thee. He then said: Bring me one who is learned among you. Then a young man was brought. The transmitter then mentioned the rest of the tradition of stoning similar to the one transmitted by Malik from Nafi'(No)

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ یہود کے کچھ لوگ آئے اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو بلا کر قف ۱؎ لے گئے آپ ان کے پاس بیت المدارس ( مدرسہ ) میں آئے تو وہ کہنے لگے: ابوالقاسم! ہم میں سے ایک شخص نے ایک عورت سے زنا کر لیا ہے، آپ ان کا فیصلہ کر دیجئیے، ان لوگوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے ایک گاؤ تکیہ لگایا، آپ اس پر ٹیک لگا کر بیٹھے، پھر آپ نے فرمایا: میرے پاس تورات لاؤ چنانچہ وہ لائی گئی، آپ نے اپنے نیچے سے گاؤ تکیہ نکالا، اور تورات کو اس پر رکھا اور فرمایا: میں تجھ پر ایمان لایا اور اس نبی پر جس پر اللہ نے تجھے نازل کیا ہے پھر آپ نے فرمایا: جو تم میں سب سے بڑا عالم ہو اسے بلاؤ چنانچہ ایک نوجوان کو بلا کر لایا گیا آگے واقعہ رجم کا اسی طرح ذکر ہے جیسے مالک کی روایت میں ہے جسے انہوں نے نافع سے روایت کیا ہے۔
