كتاب الأطعمة
Rapporté par Wahshi ibn Harb : Les compagnons du Prophète ﷺ dirent : « Messager d’Allah ﷺ, nous mangeons mais nous ne sommes pas rassasiés. » Il dit : « Peut-être mangez-vous chacun de votre côté. » Ils répondirent : « Oui. » Il dit : « Si vous vous réunissez autour de la nourriture et mentionnez le nom d’Allah, elle sera bénie. » Abu Dawud a dit : Si vous êtes invités à un festin de mariage, n’y touchez pas avant que le propriétaire des lieux (l’hôte) ne vous y autorise

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى الرَّازِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي وَحْشِيُّ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ أَصْحَابَ النَّبِيِّ، صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا نَأْكُلُ وَلاَ نَشْبَعُ . قَالَ " فَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَفْتَرِقُونَ " . قَالُوا نَعَمْ . قَالَ " فَاجْتَمِعُوا عَلَى طَعَامِكُمْ وَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ يُبَارَكْ لَكُمْ فِيهِ " . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ إِذَا كُنْتَ فِي وَلِيمَةٍ فَوُضِعَ الْعَشَاءُ فَلاَ تَأْكُلْ حَتَّى يَأْذَنَ لَكَ صَاحِبُ الدَّارِ .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Wahshi ibn Harb: The Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) we eat but we are not satisfied. He said: Perhaps you eat separately. They replied: Yes. He said: If you gather together at your food and mention Allah's name, you will be blessed in it. Abu Dawud said: If you are invited to a wedding feast before you, do not take it until the owner of the house (i.e. the host) allows you (to eat)
Traduction en ourdou
وحشی بن حرب حبشی حمصی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ صحابہ کرام نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! ہم کھانا کھاتے ہیں لیکن پیٹ نہیں بھرتا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: شاید تم لوگ الگ الگ کھاتے ہو؟ لوگوں نے کہا: ہاں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم لوگ مل کر اور بسم اللہ کر کے ( اللہ کا نام لے کر ) کھاؤ، تمہارے کھانے میں برکت ہو گی ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: جب تم کسی ولیمہ میں ہو اور کھانا رکھ دیا جائے تو گھر کے مالک ( میزبان ) کی اجازت کے بغیر کھانا نہ کھاؤ۔
