Le hadith mentionné ci-dessus (n°3330) a aussi été transmis par Abu Safwan ibn Umayrah par une autre chaîne de rapporteurs. Cette version dit : Abu Safwan a dit : « Je suis venu voir le Messager d’Allah ﷺ à La Mecque avant son émigration. » Il a ensuite raconté le reste du récit, mais il n’a pas mentionné les mots « qui pesait pour le paiement ». Abu Dawud a dit : Qais l’a aussi transmis comme Sufyan l’a dit ; la version de Sufyan fait autorité

حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، وَمُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، - الْمَعْنَى قَرِيبٌ - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عُمَيْرَةَ، قَالَ أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمَكَّةَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُهَاجِرَ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ يَزِنُ بِالأَجْرِ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ رَوَاهُ قَيْسٌ كَمَا قَالَ سُفْيَانُ وَالْقَوْلُ قَوْلُ سُفْيَانَ .
Traduction anglaise
The tradition mentioned above (No. 3330) has also been transmitted by AbuSafwan ibn Umayrah through a different chain of narrators. This version has:Abu Safwan said: I came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) at Mecca before his immigration. He then narrated the rest of the tradition, but he did not mention the words "who was weighing for payment". Abu Dawud sad: Qais also transmitted it as Sufyan said: The version of Sufyan is authoritative

ابوصفوان بن عمیرۃ (یعنی سوید) رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آپ کی ہجرت سے پہلے مکہ آیا، پھر انہوں نے یہی حدیث بیان کی لیکن اجرت لے کر وزن کرنے کا ذکر نہیں کیا ہے۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: اسے قیس نے بھی سفیان کی طرح بیان کیا ہے اور لائق اعتماد بات تو سفیان کی بات ہے۔
