Hadith 3205 — Livre 21: Funerals (Kitab Al-Jana'iz)

Rapporté par Abu Burdah, d’après son père : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ nous ordonna de partir vers la terre du Négus. En rapportant la suite du récit, il dit que le Négus déclara : « J’atteste qu’il est le Messager d’Allah ﷺ, et c’est de lui que le Christ, fils de Marie, a annoncé la bonne nouvelle. Si je n’étais pas dans le pays où je suis, j’irais vers lui et je porterais ses chaussures. »

حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ - عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ نَنْطَلِقَ إِلَى أَرْضِ النَّجَاشِيِّ فَذَكَرَ حَدِيثَهُ قَالَ النَّجَاشِيُّ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَنَّهُ الَّذِي بَشَّرَ بِهِ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ وَلَوْلاَ مَا أَنَا فِيهِ مِنَ الْمُلْكِ لأَتَيْتُهُ حَتَّى أَحْمِلَ نَعْلَيْهِ .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Burdah:On the authority of his father: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) commanded us to proceed to the land of Negus. Mentioning the rest of the tradition he said that Negus said: I bear witness that he is the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and it is he about whom Christ son of Mary gave good news. It I were not in the land which I am, I would come to him and carry his shoes
Traduction en ourdou
ابوموسیٰ اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( جب کفار نے سخت ایذائیں پہنچائیں تو ) ہمیں نجاشی کے ملک میں چلے جانے کا حکم دیا، نجاشی نے کہا: میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ وہ ( محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) اللہ کے رسول ہیں اور وہ وہی شخص ہیں جن کے آنے کی بشارت عیسیٰ بن مریم نے دی ہے اور اگر میں سلطنت کے انتظام اور اس کی ذمہ داریوں میں پھنسا ہوا نہ ہوتا تو ان کے پاس آتا یہاں تک کہ میں ان کی جوتیاں اٹھاتا۔
