Rapporté par Abd Allah ibn Abbas رضي الله عنه : Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf a dit : J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dire : « Lorsque vous apprenez qu’une épidémie sévit dans un territoire, n’y allez pas. Si elle éclate là où vous êtes, ne partez pas en fuyant. » Par « épidémie », il parlait de la peste

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ بِهِ بِأَرْضٍ فَلاَ تُقْدِمُوا عَلَيْهِ وَإِذَا وَقَعَ بِأَرْضٍ وَأَنْتُمْ بِهَا فَلاَ تَخْرُجُوا فِرَارًا مِنْهُ " . يَعْنِي الطَّاعُونَ .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated 'Abd Allah b. 'Abbas:That 'Abd al-Rahman b.'Awf said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: When you hear that it is breaking out in a certain territory, do not go there. If it breaks out in the territory you are in, do not go out fleeing away from it. By "it" he referred to the plague
Traduction en ourdou
عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جب تم کسی زمین کے بارے میں سنو کہ وہاں طاعون ۱؎ پھیلا ہوا ہے تو تم وہاں نہ جاؤ ۲؎، اور جس سر زمین میں وہ پھیل جائے اور تم وہاں ہو تو طاعون سے بچنے کے خیال سے وہاں سے بھاگ کر ( کہیں اور ) نہ جاؤ ۳؎ ۔
