Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Les compagnons du Prophète ﷺ se sont plaints au Prophète ﷺ de la difficulté qu’ils éprouvaient à garder leurs avant-bras loin de leurs côtés pendant la prosternation. Il a dit : « Aidez-vous avec les coudes (en les posant au sol et en les collant aux côtés). »

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنْ سُمَىٍّ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ اشْتَكَى أَصْحَابُ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَشَقَّةَ السُّجُودِ عَلَيْهِمْ إِذَا انْفَرَجُوا فَقَالَ " اسْتَعِينُوا بِالرُّكَبِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated AbuHurayrah: The Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) complained to the Prophet (ﷺ) about the hardship when they kept their forearms far away from their sides while prostrating. He said: Take help with the elbows (by spreading them on the ground and sticking them to the sides)
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم نے آپ سے شکایت کی کہ جب لوگ پھیل کر سجدہ کرتے ہیں تو سجدے میں ہمیں تکلیف ہوتی ہے، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: زانو ( گھٹنے ) سے مدد لے لیا کرو ۱؎ ۔
