Hadith 779 — Livre 2: Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat)

Rapporté par Samurah ibn Jundub et Ubayy ibn Ka’b رضي الله عنهما : Samurah ibn Jundub et Imran ibn Husayn ont discuté (au sujet des moments de silence dans la prière). Samurah a alors dit qu’il se souvenait de deux moments de silence du Messager d’Allah ﷺ : l’un quand il prononçait le takbir et l’autre quand il terminait la récitation : « Non pas de ceux qui ont encouru Ta colère, ni des égarés » (1:7). Samurah s’en souvenait, mais Imran ibn Husayn n’était pas d’accord. Ils ont alors écrit à Ubayy ibn Ka’b. Il leur a répondu par lettre que Samurah avait raison

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، أَنَّ سَمُرَةَ بْنَ جُنْدُبٍ، وَعِمْرَانَ بْنَ حُصَيْنٍ، تَذَاكَرَا فَحَدَّثَ سَمُرَةُ بْنُ جُنْدُبٍ، أَنَّهُ حَفِظَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَكْتَتَيْنِ سَكْتَةً إِذَا كَبَّرَ وَسَكْتَةً إِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْ قِرَاءَةِ { غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ } فَحَفِظَ ذَلِكَ سَمُرَةُ وَأَنْكَرَ عَلَيْهِ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ فَكَتَبَا فِي ذَلِكَ إِلَى أُبَىِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ وَكَانَ فِي كِتَابِهِ إِلَيْهِمَا أَوْ فِي رَدِّهِ عَلَيْهِمَا أَنَّ سَمُرَةَ قَدْ حَفِظَ .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Samurah ibn Jundub; Ubayy ibn Ka'b: Samurah ibn Jundub and Imran ibn Husayn had a discussion (about the periods of silence in prayer). Samurah then said that he remembered two periods of silence from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ); one when he uttered the takbir and the other when he finished reciting: "Not of those with whom Thou art angry, nor of those who go astray" (i.7). Samurah remembered that, but Imran ibn Husayn rejected it. Then they wrote about it to Ubayy ibn Ka'b. He wrote a letter to them and gave a reply to them that Samurah remembered correctly

حسن سے روایت ہے کہ سمرہ بن جندب اور عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہما نے آپس میں ( سکتہ کا ) ذکر کیا تو سمرہ بن جندب رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے دو سکتے یاد رکھے ہیں: ایک سکتہ اس وقت جب آپ تکبیر تحریمہ کہتے اور دوسرا سکتہ جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم «غير المغضوب عليهم ولا الضالين» ۱؎ کی قرآت سے فارغ ہوتے، ان دونوں سکتوں کو سمرہ نے یاد رکھا، لیکن عمران بن حصین نے اس کا انکار کیا تو دونوں نے اس کے متعلق ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ کو خط لکھا تو انہوں نے ان دونوں کے خط کے جواب میں لکھا کہ سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے ( ٹھیک ) یاد رکھا ہے۔
