كتاب الصلاة
Abd Allah b. Mas’ud a dit : Persévérez à accomplir ces cinq prières là où l’appel est fait, car elles font partie des voies de la bonne direction. Et Allah, le Puissant, le Majestueux, a tracé pour Son Prophète ﷺ les chemins de la bonne direction. J’ai connu une époque où personne ne manquait la prière sauf un hypocrite dont l’hypocrisie était connue. J’ai vu un homme être amené, soutenu par deux autres, jusqu’à ce qu’on le place dans le rang (de la prière). Chacun de nous a une mosquée chez lui. Si vous priez chez vous et délaissez vos mosquées, vous abandonnez la Sunna de votre Prophète, et si vous abandonnez la Sunna de votre Prophète, vous deviendrez mécréants

حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ الأَزْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الأَقْمَرِ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ حَافِظُوا عَلَى هَؤُلاَءِ الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسِ حَيْثُ يُنَادَى بِهِنَّ فَإِنَّهُنَّ مِنْ سُنَنِ الْهُدَى وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ شَرَعَ لِنَبِيِّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم سُنَنَ الْهُدَى وَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنَا وَمَا يَتَخَلَّفُ عَنْهَا إِلاَّ مُنَافِقٌ بَيِّنُ النِّفَاقِ وَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنَا وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيُهَادَى بَيْنَ الرَّجُلَيْنِ حَتَّى يُقَامَ فِي الصَّفِّ وَمَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلاَّ وَلَهُ مَسْجِدٌ فِي بَيْتِهِ وَلَوْ صَلَّيْتُمْ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ وَتَرَكْتُمْ مَسَاجِدَكُمْ تَرَكْتُمْ سُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكُمْ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَلَوْ تَرَكْتُمْ سُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكُمْ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَكَفَرْتُمْ .
Traduction anglaise
Abd Allah b. Mas’ud said:Persevere in observing these five times of prayer where the announcement for them is made, because they are from the paths of right guidance. And Allah, the Might, the Majestic, has laid down for his prophet (ﷺ) the paths of right guidance. I have seen the time when no one stayed away from prayer except a hypocrite whose hypocrite was well known. I witnessed the time when a man would be brought swaying between two men till he was set up in the row (of the prayer). Every one of us has a mosque of his in his house. If you were to pray in your houses and stay from your mosques. You would abandon the Sunnah (practice) of your prophet, and if you were Abandon the Sunnah (Practice) of your Prophet, you would become an unbeliever

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں تم لوگ ان پانچوں نمازوں کی پابندی کرو جہاں ان کی اذان دی جائے، کیونکہ یہ ہدایت کی راہیں ہیں، اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے ہدایت کے طریقے اور راستے مقرر کر دئیے ہیں، اور ہم تو یہ سمجھتے تھے کہ نماز باجماعت سے وہی غیر حاضر رہتا تھا جو کھلا ہوا منافق ہوتا تھا، اور ہم یہ بھی دیکھتے تھے کہ آدمی دو شخصوں کے کندھوں پر ہاتھ رکھ کر چلایا جاتا، یہاں تک کہ اس آدمی کو صف میں لا کر کھڑا کر دیا جاتا تھا، تم میں سے ایسا کوئی شخص نہیں ہے، جس کی مسجد اس کے گھر میں نہ ہو، لیکن اگر تم اپنے گھروں میں نماز پڑھتے رہے اور مسجدوں میں نماز پڑھنا چھوڑ دیا، تو تم نے اپنے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا طریقہ ترک کر دیا اور اگر تم نے اپنے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا طریقہ ترک کر دیا تو کافروں جیسا کام کیا۔
