كتاب الصلاة
Abu Mahdhurah a rapporté : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ m’a enseigné mot à mot l’appel à la prière (adhan) : « Allah est le plus Grand, Allah est le plus Grand, Allah est le plus Grand, Allah est le plus Grand ; j’atteste qu’il n’y a pas d’autre divinité qu’Allah, j’atteste qu’il n’y a pas d’autre divinité qu’Allah ; j’atteste que Muhammad est le Messager d’Allah, j’atteste que Muhammad est le Messager d’Allah ; j’atteste qu’il n’y a pas d’autre divinité qu’Allah, j’atteste qu’il n’y a pas d’autre divinité qu’Allah ; j’atteste que Muhammad est le Messager d’Allah, j’atteste que Muhammad est le Messager d’Allah ; venez à la prière, venez à la prière ; venez au salut, venez au salut. » Il disait « La prière est meilleure que le sommeil » lors de la prière de l’aube

حَدَّثَنَا النُّفَيْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَدِّي عَبْدَ الْمَلِكِ بْنَ أَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ، يَذْكُرُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا مَحْذُورَةَ، يَقُولُ أَلْقَى عَلَىَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الأَذَانَ حَرْفًا حَرْفًا " اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ حَىَّ عَلَى الصَّلاَةِ حَىَّ عَلَى الصَّلاَةِ حَىَّ عَلَى الْفَلاَحِ حَىَّ عَلَى الْفَلاَحِ " . قَالَ وَكَانَ يَقُولُ فِي الْفَجْرِ الصَّلاَةُ خَيْرٌ مِنَ النَّوْمِ .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Mahdhurah reported:The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) taught me the call to prayer (adhan) verbatim; Allah is most great, Allah is most great, Allah is most great, Allah is most great; I testify that there is no god but Allah, I testify that there is no god but Allah; I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; I testify that there is no god but Allah. I testify that there is no god but Allah; I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; come to prayer, come to prayer; come to salvation, come to salvation. He used to pronounce “prayer is better than sleep” in the dawn prayer
Traduction en ourdou
عبدالملک کا بیان کہ انہوں نے ابو محذورہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو کہتے سنا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے اذان کے کلمات حرفاً حرفاً یوں سکھائے: «الله أكبر الله أكبر الله أكبر الله أكبر أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله حى على الصلاة حى على الصلاة حى على الفلاح حى على الفلاح» ۔ اور فرمایا: فجر میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم «الصلاة خير من النوم» کہتے تھے۔
