Hadith 401 — Livre 2: Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat)
كتاب الصلاة
Rapporté par Abu Dharr رضي الله عنه : Nous étions en compagnie du Prophète ﷺ. Le muezzin s’apprêtait à appeler à la prière du zuhr. Il a dit : « Attendez qu’il fasse plus frais. » Il s’apprêtait de nouveau à appeler à la prière. Il a répété deux ou trois fois : « Attendez qu’il fasse plus frais. » Nous avons alors vu l’ombre des buttes. Il a dit : « La chaleur intense vient du bouillonnement de l’Enfer ; donc, quand la chaleur est forte, faites la prière du zuhr quand il fait plus frais. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْحَسَنِ، - قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ هُوَ مُهَاجِرٌ - قَالَ سَمِعْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ وَهْبٍ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا ذَرٍّ، يَقُولُ كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَرَادَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ أَنْ يُؤَذِّنَ الظُّهْرَ فَقَالَ " أَبْرِدْ " . ثُمَّ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُؤَذِّنَ فَقَالَ " أَبْرِدْ " . مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاَثًا حَتَّى رَأَيْنَا فَىْءَ التُّلُولِ ثُمَّ قَالَ " إِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَإِذَا اشْتَدَّ الْحَرُّ فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلاَةِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Dharr said:We were in the company of the Prophet (ﷺ). The mu'adhdhin intended to call for the Zuhr prayer. He said: Make it cooler. He then intended to call for prayer. He said twice or thrice: Make it cooler. We then witnessed the shadow of the mounds. He then said: The intensity of heat comes from the bubbling over of the Hell ; so when the heat is violent, offer (the Zuhr) prayer when it becomes cooler

جناب زید بن وہب کہتے تھے میں نے سیدنا ابوذر ؓ سے سنا وہ کہتے تھے کہ ہم رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ساتھ تھے کہ مؤذن نے ظہر کی اذان کہنا چاہی تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا ”ٹھنڈک ہونے دو۔“ اس نے پھر اذان کہنا چاہی تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا ”ٹھنڈک ہونے دو۔“ دو دفعہ یا تین دفعہ یہی ہوا حتیٰ کہ ہم نے ٹیلوں کے سائے دیکھ لیے پھر فرمایا ”گرمی کی شدت جہنم کی لپٹ سے ہے۔ جب گرمی شدید ہو تو نماز کو ٹھنڈے وقت میں پڑھو۔“
