Hadith 2124 — Livre 12: Marriage (Kitab Al-Nikah)
كتاب النكاح
Rapporté par Anas ibn Malik رضي الله عنه : Quand un homme qui a déjà une épouse se marie avec une vierge, il doit rester avec elle sept nuits ; s’il épouse une femme qui a déjà été mariée, il doit rester avec elle trois nuits. (Le rapporteur dit :) Si je dis qu’Anas a rapporté ce récit du Prophète ﷺ, je dis la vérité. Mais il a dit : « La Sunna est ainsi. »

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ إِذَا تَزَوَّجَ الْبِكْرَ عَلَى الثَّيِّبِ أَقَامَ عِنْدَهَا سَبْعًا . وَإِذَا تَزَوَّجَ الثَّيِّبَ أَقَامَ عِنْدَهَا ثَلاَثًا . وَلَوْ قُلْتُ إِنَّهُ رَفَعَهُ لَصَدَقْتُ وَلَكِنَّهُ قَالَ السُّنَّةُ كَذَلِكَ .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Anas b. Malik :When a man who has a wife married a virgin he should stay with her seven nights ; if he marries to a woman who has been previously married he should stay with her three nights. (The narrator said:) If I say that he (Anas) narrated this tradition from the Prophet (ﷺ) I shall be true. But he said: The Sunnah is so-and-so
Traduction en ourdou
انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ جب کوئی ثیبہ کے رہتے ہوئے کنواری سے شادی کرے تو اس کے ساتھ سات رات رہے، اور جب ثیبہ سے شادی کرے تو اس کے پاس تین رات رہے۔ راوی کا بیان ہے کہ اگر میں یہ کہوں کہ انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے اسے مرفوعاً بیان کیا ہے تو سچ ہے لیکن انہوں نے کہا کہ سنت اسی طرح ہے ۔
