حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرٌ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُضَرَ - عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، أَنَّ رُبَيِّعَ بِنْتَ مُعَوِّذِ ابْنِ عَفْرَاءَ، أَخْبَرَتْهُ قَالَتْ، رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَتَوَضَّأُ - قَالَتْ - فَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ وَمَسَحَ مَا أَقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَمَا أَدْبَرَ وَصُدْغَيْهِ وَأُذُنَيْهِ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً .

Al-Rubayyi’ daughter of Mu’awwidh b. ‘Afra’ said:I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performing ablution. He wiped his head front and back, his temples and his ears once

ربیع بنت معوذ بن عفراء رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو وضو کرتے ہوئے دیکھا، آپ نے اپنے سر کے اگلے اور پچھلے حصے کا اور اپنی دونوں کنپٹیوں اور دونوں کانوں کا ایک بار مسح کیا۔
