Proof of Islam — 1058–1111 CE / Tus
One of the most influential thinkers in Islamic history: in Revival of the Religious Sciences he united jurisprudence, ethics and Sufism, rebuilding religious life for Muslims. In The Incoherence of the Philosophers he delimited revelation and reason, and his translated works entered medieval Latin thought.
