It was narrated from Salim, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:"The one who misses 'Asr prayer, it is as if he has been robbed of his family and his wealth." Arabic original
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الَّذِي تَفُوتُهُ صَلاَةُ الْعَصْرِ فَكَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلَهُ وَمَالَهُ " . أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، - رضى الله عنهما - أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الَّذِي تَفُوتُهُ صَلاَةُ الْعَصْرِ فَكَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلَهُ وَمَالَهُ " .
Urdu translation
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہم کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس شخص کی عصر فوت گئی گویا اس کا گھربار لٹ گیا ۔
