Hadith 7066 — Buch 92: Afflictions and the End of the World

Narrated `Abdullah:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Near the establishment of the Hour, there will be the days of Al-Harj, and the religious knowledge will be taken away (vanish i.e. by the death of Religious scholars) and general ignorance will spread." ہم سے محمد بن بشار نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے غندر نے، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے، ان سے واصل نے، ان سے ابووائل نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے اور میرا خیال ہے کہ اس حدیث کو انہوں نے مرفوعاً بیان کیا، کہا کہ قیامت سے پہلے «هرج» کے دن ہوں گے، ان میں علم ختم ہو جائے گا اور جہالت غالب ہو گی۔ ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ حبشی زبان میں «هرج» بمعنی قتل ہے۔
