Laylat al-Qadr: its signs and the last ten nights

Short answerLaylat al-Qadr is better than a thousand months. It is sought in the odd nights of the last ten of Ramadan, and many scholars consider the 27th night the most likely. The best supplication is: “O God, You are Pardoning and love pardon, so pardon me.” The Prophet ﷺ did not fix its date exactly so that believers would strive on every night.

In the Quran

Quran

Indeed, We sent it [i.e., the Qur’ān] down during the Night of Decree. And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree? The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. The angels and the Spirit [i.e., Gabriel] descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter. Peace it is[1956] until the emergence of dawn.

Al-Qadr 97:1–5
