كتاب الطهارة وسننها
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنَا فِي، أَرْضٍ بَارِدَةٍ فَكَيْفَ الْغُسْلُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " أَمَّا أَنَا فَأَحْثُو عَلَى رَأْسِي ثَلاَثًا " .

It was narrated that Jabir said:"I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! I live in a cold land, so how should I have a bath to cleanse myself from sexual impurity?' He said: 'As for me, I pour three handfuls of water over my head

جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! میں سرد علاقہ میں رہتا ہوں، غسل جنابت کیسے کروں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: میں تو اپنے سر پر تین چلو پانی ڈالتا ہوں ۔
