المقدمة (كتاب السنة)
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلاَّ سَيُكَلِّمُهُ رَبُّهُ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهُ تَرْجُمَانٌ فَيَنْظُرُ عَنْ أَيْمَنَ مِنْهُ فَلاَ يَرَى إِلاَّ شَيْئًا قَدَّمَهُ ثُمَّ يَنْظُرُ عَنْ أَيْسَرَ مِنْهُ فَلاَ يَرَى إِلاَّ شَيْئًا قَدَّمَهُ ثُمَّ يَنْظُرُ أَمَامَهُ فَتَسْتَقْبِلُهُ النَّارُ فَمَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَتَّقِيَ النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ فَلْيَفْعَلْ " .

Englische Übersetzung
It was narrated that 'Adi bin Hatim said:"The Messenger of Allah said: 'There is no one among you but his Lord will speak to him without any intermediary between them. He will look to his right and will not see anything but that which he sent forth. He will look to his left and will not see anything but that which he sent forth. Then he will look in front of him and will be faced with the Fire. So whoever among you can protect himself from fire, even by means of half a date, let him do so
Urdu-Übersetzung
عدی بن حاتم رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم میں سے ہر شخص سے اللہ تعالیٰ ( قیامت کے دن ) بغیر کسی ترجمان کے ہم کلام ہو گا ۱؎، بندہ اپنی دائیں جانب نگاہ ڈالے گا تو اپنے ان اعمال کے سوا جن کو اپنے آگے بھیج چکا تھا کچھ بھی نہ دیکھے گا، پھر بائیں جانب نگاہ ڈالے گا تو اپنے ان اعمال کے سوا جن کو آگے بھیج چکا تھا کچھ بھی نہ دیکھے گا، پھر اپنے آگے دیکھے گا تو جہنم اس کے سامنے ہو گی پس جو جہنم سے بچ سکتا ہو چاہے کھجور کے ایک ٹکڑے کو اللہ کی راہ میں دے کر تو اس کو ضرور ایسا کرنا چاہیئے ۔
