حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ كُنْتُ أَنَا وَأُمِّي، مِنَ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ.

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:My mother and I were among the weak and oppressed (Muslims at Mecca)

ہم سے عبداللہ بن محمد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبیداللہ نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے سنا، انہوں نے کہا کہ میں اور میری والدہ «مستضعفين» ( کمزوروں ) میں سے تھے۔
