Allah — there is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and preserving them does not tire Him. He is the Most High, the Most Great.

Whoever recites it when going to bed has a guardian from Allah over him, and no devil comes near him until morning.

    Ayat al-Kursi — Al-Baqarah 2:255 · Al-Bukhari

O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Lord and Sovereign of all things: I bear witness that there is no god but You. If one of you sees a dream he likes, it is from Allah: let him praise Allah for it and tell it. If he sees something he dislikes, it is from Satan: let him seek refuge from its evil and not mention it to anyone, and it will not harm him.
