أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
Allāhu lā ilāha illā huwa al-ḥayyu al-qayyūm, lā ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa lā nawm, lahu mā fis-samāwāti wa mā fil-arḍ, man dhā alladhī yashfa'u 'indahu illā bi-idhnih, ya'lamu mā bayna aydīhim wa mā khalfahum, wa lā yuḥīṭūna bi-shay'in min 'ilmihi illā bimā shā', wasi'a kursiyyuhus-samāwāti wal-arḍ, wa lā ya'ūduhu ḥifẓuhumā, wa huwal-'aliyyul-'aẓīm.
Allah — there is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and preserving them does not tire Him. He is the Most High, the Most Great.
من قالها حين يصبح أُجير من الجن حتى يمسي، ومن قالها حين يمسي أُجير منهم حتى يصبح.
آية الكرسي — البقرة ٢٥٥ · رواه النسائي في الكبرى والحاكمبِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ
Qul huwa Allāhu aḥad. Allāhuṣ-ṣamad. Lam yalid wa lam yūlad. Wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan aḥad.
Say: He is Allah, the One. Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born. And there is none comparable to Him.
من قرأ الإخلاص والمعوذتين ثلاث مرات حين يمسي وحين يصبح كفته من كل شيء.
سورة الإخلاص · رواه أبو داود والترمذيبِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
Qul a'ūdhu bi-rabbil-falaq. Min sharri mā khalaq. Wa min sharri ghāsiqin idhā waqab. Wa min sharrin-naffāthāti fil-'uqad. Wa min sharri ḥāsidin idhā ḥasad.
Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak, from the evil of what He has created, from the evil of darkness when it settles, from the evil of those who blow on knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies.
من قرأ الإخلاص والمعوذتين ثلاث مرات حين يمسي وحين يصبح كفته من كل شيء.
سورة الفلق · رواه أبو داود والترمذيبِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ
Qul a'ūdhu bi-rabbin-nās. Malikin-nās. Ilāhin-nās. Min sharril-waswāsil-khannās. Alladhī yuwaswisu fī ṣudūrin-nās. Minal-jinnati wan-nās.
Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the King of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the retreating whisperer, who whispers in the hearts of mankind, from among the jinn and mankind.
من قرأ الإخلاص والمعوذتين ثلاث مرات حين يمسي وحين يصبح كفته من كل شيء.
سورة الناس · رواه أبو داود والترمذيأَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، رَبِّ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ وَخَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَهُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهُ، رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَسُوءِ الْكِبَرِ، رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ فِي النَّارِ وَعَذَابٍ فِي الْقَبْرِ
Aṣbaḥnā wa aṣbaḥal-mulku lillāh, wal-ḥamdu lillāh, lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu wa huwa 'alā kulli shay'in qadīr. Rabbi as'aluka khayra mā fī hādhal-yawmi wa khayra mā ba'dah, wa a'ūdhu bika min sharri mā fī hādhal-yawmi wa sharri mā ba'dah. Rabbi a'ūdhu bika minal-kasali wa sū'il-kibar. Rabbi a'ūdhu bika min 'adhābin fin-nāri wa 'adhābin fil-qabr.
We have entered the morning and the dominion belongs to Allah, and all praise is for Allah. There is no god but Allah alone, without partner; His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things. My Lord, I ask You for the good of this day and the good of what follows it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil of what follows it. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from laziness and the misery of old age. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from punishment in the Fire and punishment in the grave.
كان النبي ﷺ يقوله إذا أصبح وإذا أمسى.
رواه مسلماللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا، وَبِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا، وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُورُ
Allāhumma bika aṣbaḥnā, wa bika amsaynā, wa bika naḥyā, wa bika namūtu, wa ilaykan-nushūr.
O Allah, by You we enter the morning and by You we enter the evening, by You we live and by You we die, and to You is the resurrection.
من أذكار النبي ﷺ في الصباح والمساء.
رواه أبو داود والترمذياللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Allāhumma anta rabbī lā ilāha illā ant, khalaqtanī wa ana 'abduk, wa ana 'alā 'ahdika wa wa'dika mastaṭa't, a'ūdhu bika min sharri mā ṣana't, abū'u laka bi-ni'matika 'alayy, wa abū'u bi-dhanbī faghfir lī, fa-innahu lā yaghfirudh-dhunūba illā ant.
O Allah, You are my Lord; there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant. I hold to Your covenant and promise as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favor upon me, and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.
من قالها من النهار موقنًا بها فمات من يومه قبل أن يمسي فهو من أهل الجنة، ومن قالها من الليل وهو موقن بها فمات قبل أن يصبح فهو من أهل الجنة.
سيد الاستغفار · رواه البخاريرَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ نَبِيًّا
Raḍītu billāhi rabbā, wa bil-islāmi dīnā, wa bi-Muḥammadin ﷺ nabiyyā.
I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad ﷺ as my Prophet.
من قالها حين يصبح وحين يمسي كان حقًّا على الله أن يرضيه يوم القيامة.
رواه أحمد وأبو داود والترمذياللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَصْبَحْتُ أُشْهِدُكَ، وَأُشْهِدُ حَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ، وَمَلَائِكَتَكَ، وَجَمِيعَ خَلْقِكَ، أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ
Allāhumma innī aṣbaḥtu ush-hiduk, wa ush-hidu ḥamalata 'arshik, wa malā'ikatak, wa jamī'a khalqik, annaka antallāhu lā ilāha illā anta waḥdaka lā sharīka lak, wa anna Muḥammadan 'abduka wa rasūluk.
O Allah, I have entered the morning calling You to witness, and calling to witness the bearers of Your Throne, Your angels and all Your creation, that You are Allah — there is no god but You alone, without partner — and that Muhammad is Your servant and Messenger.
من قالها أربع مرات حين يصبح أو يمسي أعتقه الله من النار.
رواه أبو داوداللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَدَنِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي سَمْعِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَصَرِي، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Allāhumma 'āfinī fī badanī, Allāhumma 'āfinī fī sam'ī, Allāhumma 'āfinī fī baṣarī, lā ilāha illā ant.
O Allah, grant me health in my body. O Allah, grant me health in my hearing. O Allah, grant me health in my sight. There is no god but You.
دعاء كان النبي ﷺ يكرره ثلاثًا حين يصبح وحين يمسي.
رواه أبو داود وأحمداللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَالْفَقْرِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Allāhumma innī a'ūdhu bika minal-kufri wal-faqr, wa a'ūdhu bika min 'adhābil-qabr, lā ilāha illā ant.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from disbelief and poverty, and I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave. There is no god but You.
كان النبي ﷺ يوصي به أبا بكرة ليقوله ثلاثًا صباحًا ومساءً.
رواه أبو داود وأحمدحَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ، عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
Ḥasbiyallāhu lā ilāha illā huw, 'alayhi tawakkaltu, wa huwa rabbul-'arshil-'aẓīm.
Allah is sufficient for me; there is no god but Him. In Him I place my trust, and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne.
من قالها سبع مرات حين يصبح وحين يمسي كفاه الله ما أهمه من أمر الدنيا والآخرة.
رواه أبو داود موقوفًا على أبي الدرداءاللَّهُمَّ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ، فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَلِيكَهُ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي، وَمِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشِرْكِهِ، وَأَنْ أَقْتَرِفَ عَلَى نَفْسِي سُوءًا أَوْ أَجُرَّهُ إِلَى مُسْلِمٍ
Allāhumma 'ālimal-ghaybi wash-shahādah, fāṭiras-samāwāti wal-arḍ, rabba kulli shay'in wa malīkah, ashhadu an lā ilāha illā ant, a'ūdhu bika min sharri nafsī, wa min sharrish-shayṭāni wa shirkih, wa an aqtarifa 'alā nafsī sū'an aw ajurrahu ilā muslim.
O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Lord and Sovereign of all things: I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my own soul, from the evil of Satan and his polytheism, and from doing wrong to myself or bringing it upon another Muslim.
أمر النبي ﷺ أبا بكر الصديق رضي الله عنه أن يقولها إذا أصبح وإذا أمسى وإذا أخذ مضجعه.
رواه أبو داود والترمذييَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ، أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ، وَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ
Yā Ḥayyu yā Qayyūm, bi-raḥmatika astaghīth, aṣliḥ lī sha'nī kullah, wa lā takilnī ilā nafsī ṭarfata 'ayn.
O Ever-Living, O Sustainer, in Your mercy I seek relief. Set right all my affairs, and do not leave me to myself even for the blink of an eye.
وصية النبي ﷺ لابنته فاطمة رضي الله عنها لتقولها صباحًا ومساءً.
رواه الحاكم والنسائي في الكبرىأَصْبَحْنَا عَلَى فِطْرَةِ الْإِسْلَامِ، وَعَلَى كَلِمَةِ الْإِخْلَاصِ، وَعَلَى دِينِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ، وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ أَبِينَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا مُسْلِمًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
Aṣbaḥnā 'alā fiṭratil-islām, wa 'alā kalimatil-ikhlāṣ, wa 'alā dīni nabiyyinā Muḥammadin ﷺ, wa 'alā millati abīnā Ibrāhīma ḥanīfan musliman wa mā kāna minal-mushrikīn.
We have entered the morning upon the natural religion of Islam, the word of sincerity, the religion of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and the creed of our father Ibrahim — upright, a Muslim, and not of the polytheists.
كان النبي ﷺ يقول ذلك إذا أصبح وإذا أمسى.
رواه أحمد والنسائي في الكبرىأَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ: فَتْحَهُ، وَنَصْرَهُ، وَنُورَهُ، وَبَرَكَتَهُ، وَهُدَاهُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِيهِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهُ
Aṣbaḥnā wa aṣbaḥal-mulku lillāhi rabbil-'ālamīn, Allāhumma innī as'aluka khayra hādhal-yawm: fatḥahu, wa naṣrahu, wa nūrahu, wa barakatahu, wa hudāh, wa a'ūdhu bika min sharri mā fīhi wa sharri mā ba'dah.
We have entered the morning and the dominion belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds. O Allah, I ask You for the good of this day: its victory, its help, its light, its blessing and its guidance; and I seek refuge in You from the evil in it and the evil after it.
من أذكار الصباح والمساء المأثورة عن النبي ﷺ.
رواه أبو داوداللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِينِي وَدُنْيَايَ وَأَهْلِي وَمَالِي، اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِي وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِي، اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ وَمِنْ خَلْفِي وَعَنْ يَمِينِي وَعَنْ شِمَالِي وَمِنْ فَوْقِي، وَأَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِي
Allāhumma innī as'alukal-'afwa wal-'āfiyata fid-dunyā wal-ākhirah. Allāhumma innī as'alukal-'afwa wal-'āfiyata fī dīnī wa dunyāya wa ahlī wa mālī. Allāhummastur 'awrātī wa āmin raw'ātī. Allāhummaḥfaẓnī min bayni yadayya wa min khalfī wa 'an yamīnī wa 'an shimālī wa min fawqī, wa a'ūdhu bi-'aẓamatika an ughtāla min taḥtī.
O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this world and the next. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my faults and calm my fears. O Allah, protect me from before me and behind me, from my right and my left and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your greatness from being swallowed up from beneath me.
لم يكن النبي ﷺ يدعها حين يمسي وحين يصبح.
رواه أبو داود وابن ماجهاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَقَهْرِ الرِّجَالِ
Allāhumma innī a'ūdhu bika minal-hammi wal-ḥazan, wa a'ūdhu bika minal-'ajzi wal-kasal, wa a'ūdhu bika minal-jubni wal-bukhl, wa a'ūdhu bika min ghalabatid-dayni wa qahrir-rijāl.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, and from being overwhelmed by debt and overpowered by men.
دعاء كان النبي ﷺ يكثر منه.
رواه البخارياللَّهُمَّ مَا أَصْبَحَ بِي مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ أَوْ بِأَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ فَمِنْكَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ
Allāhumma mā aṣbaḥa bī min ni'matin aw bi-aḥadin min khalqika faminka waḥdaka lā sharīka lak, falakal-ḥamdu wa lakash-shukr.
O Allah, whatever blessing has come to me or to any of Your creation this morning is from You alone, without partner. All praise and thanks are Yours.
من قالها حين يصبح فقد أدّى شكر يومه، ومن قالها حين يمسي فقد أدّى شكر ليلته.
رواه أبو داود والنسائي في الكبرىاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا
Allāhumma innī as'aluka 'ilman nāfi'ā, wa rizqan ṭayyibā, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalā.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision and accepted deeds.
كان النبي ﷺ يقولها إذا صلى الصبح.
رواه ابن ماجه وأحمدبِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Bismillāhil-ladhī lā yaḍurru ma'a ismihi shay'un fil-arḍi wa lā fis-samā', wa huwas-samī'ul-'alīm.
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
من قالها ثلاث مرات حين يصبح وحين يمسي لم يضره شيء.
رواه أبو داود والترمذيسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ: عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ، وَرِضَا نَفْسِهِ، وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ، وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ
Subḥānallāhi wa bi-ḥamdih: 'adada khalqih, wa riḍā nafsih, wa zinata 'arshih, wa midāda kalimātih.
Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him: as many times as the number of His creation, as much as pleases Him, as heavy as His Throne, and as much as the ink of His words.
قالها النبي ﷺ لجويرية رضي الله عنها وقال إنها تعدل ما قالته من الذكر طويلًا.
رواه مسلماللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ أَنْ نُشْرِكَ بِكَ شَيْئًا نَعْلَمُهُ، وَنَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا لَا نَعْلَمُهُ
Allāhumma innā na'ūdhu bika min an nushrika bika shay'an na'lamuh, wa nastaghfiruka limā lā na'lamuh.
O Allah, we seek refuge in You from knowingly associating anything with You, and we ask Your forgiveness for what we do not know.
علّمه النبي ﷺ أبا بكر الصديق ليقوله ثلاثًا.
رواه أحمد والبخاري في الأدب المفردأَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
Astaghfirullāhal-'aẓīmal-ladhī lā ilāha illā huwal-ḥayyul-qayyūmu wa atūbu ilayh.
I seek forgiveness from Allah the Magnificent, there is no god but Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer, and I repent to Him.
من قالها غُفر له وإن كان قد فرّ من الزحف.
رواه أبو داود والترمذيلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamd, wa huwa 'alā kulli shay'in qadīr.
There is no god but Allah alone, without partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things.
من قالها عشر مرات كان كمن أعتق أربعة أنفس من ولد إسماعيل.
رواه البخاري ومسلملَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamd, wa huwa 'alā kulli shay'in qadīr.

من قالها مائة مرة في يوم كانت له عدل عشر رقاب، وكُتبت له مائة حسنة، ومُحيت عنه مائة سيئة، وكانت له حرزًا من الشيطان يومه ذلك حتى يمسي.
رواه البخاري ومسلمسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ
Subḥānallāhi wa bi-ḥamdih.
Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Him.
من قال حين يصبح وحين يمسي سبحان الله وبحمده مائة مرة لم يأتِ أحد يوم القيامة بأفضل مما جاء به إلا أحد قال مثل ما قال أو زاد عليه.
رواه مسلمأَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
Astaghfirullāha wa atūbu ilayh.
I seek forgiveness from Allah and repent to Him.
قال النبي ﷺ: «إِنِّي لَأَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ فِي الْيَوْمِ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ».
رواه البخاري ومسلمءَامَنَ ٱلرَّسُولُ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡهِ مِن رَّبِّهِۦ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَۚ كُلٌّ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتِهِۦ وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَرُسُلِهِۦ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيۡنَ أَحَدٖ مِّن رُّسُلِهِۦۚ وَقَالُواْ سَمِعۡنَا وَأَطَعۡنَاۖ غُفۡرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيۡكَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ لَا يُكَلِّفُ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا وُسۡعَهَاۚ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتۡ وَعَلَيۡهَا مَا ٱكۡتَسَبَتۡۗ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذۡنَآ إِن نَّسِينَآ أَوۡ أَخۡطَأۡنَاۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحۡمِلۡ عَلَيۡنَآ إِصۡرٗا كَمَا حَمَلۡتَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِنَاۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلۡنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِۦۖ وَٱعۡفُ عَنَّا وَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَٱرۡحَمۡنَآۚ أَنتَ مَوۡلَىٰنَا فَٱنصُرۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
Āmanar-rasūlu bimā unzila ilayhi min rabbihi wal-mu'minūn... (Al-Baqarah 285–286).

الآيتان ٢٨٥–٢٨٦ من البقرة · رواه البخاري ومسلمأَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، رَبِّ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا فِي هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ وَخَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَهَا، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِي هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهَا، رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَسُوءِ الْكِبَرِ، رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ فِي النَّارِ وَعَذَابٍ فِي الْقَبْرِ
Amsaynā wa amsal-mulku lillāh, wal-ḥamdu lillāh, lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu wa huwa 'alā kulli shay'in qadīr. Rabbi as'aluka khayra mā fī hādhihil-laylati wa khayra mā ba'dahā, wa a'ūdhu bika min sharri mā fī hādhihil-laylati wa sharri mā ba'dahā. Rabbi a'ūdhu bika minal-kasali wa sū'il-kibar. Rabbi a'ūdhu bika min 'adhābin fin-nāri wa 'adhābin fil-qabr.
We have entered the evening and the dominion belongs to Allah, and all praise is for Allah. There is no god but Allah alone, without partner; His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things. My Lord, I ask You for the good of this night and the good of what follows it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and the evil of what follows it. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from laziness and the misery of old age. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from punishment in the Fire and punishment in the grave.
كان النبي ﷺ يقوله إذا أصبح وإذا أمسى.
رواه مسلماللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا، وَبِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا، وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ
Allāhumma bika amsaynā, wa bika aṣbaḥnā, wa bika naḥyā, wa bika namūtu, wa ilaykal-maṣīr.
O Allah, by You we enter the evening and by You we enter the morning, by You we live and by You we die, and to You is the final return.
من أذكار النبي ﷺ في الصباح والمساء.
رواه أبو داود والترمذياللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَمْسَيْتُ أُشْهِدُكَ، وَأُشْهِدُ حَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ، وَمَلَائِكَتَكَ، وَجَمِيعَ خَلْقِكَ، أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ
Allāhumma innī amsaytu ush-hiduk, wa ush-hidu ḥamalata 'arshik, wa malā'ikatak, wa jamī'a khalqik, annaka antallāhu lā ilāha illā anta waḥdaka lā sharīka lak, wa anna Muḥammadan 'abduka wa rasūluk.
O Allah, I have entered the evening calling You to witness, and calling to witness the bearers of Your Throne, Your angels and all Your creation, that You are Allah — there is no god but You alone, without partner — and that Muhammad is Your servant and Messenger.
من قالها أربع مرات حين يصبح أو يمسي أعتقه الله من النار.
رواه أبو داودأَمْسَيْنَا عَلَى فِطْرَةِ الْإِسْلَامِ، وَعَلَى كَلِمَةِ الْإِخْلَاصِ، وَعَلَى دِينِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ، وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ أَبِينَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا مُسْلِمًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
Amsaynā 'alā fiṭratil-islām, wa 'alā kalimatil-ikhlāṣ, wa 'alā dīni nabiyyinā Muḥammadin ﷺ, wa 'alā millati abīnā Ibrāhīma ḥanīfan musliman wa mā kāna minal-mushrikīn.
We have entered the evening upon the natural religion of Islam, the word of sincerity, the religion of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and the creed of our father Ibrahim — upright, a Muslim, and not of the polytheists.
كان النبي ﷺ يقول ذلك إذا أصبح وإذا أمسى.
رواه أحمد والنسائي في الكبرىأَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ: فَتْحَهَا، وَنَصْرَهَا، وَنُورَهَا، وَبَرَكَتَهَا، وَهُدَاهَا، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِيهَا وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهَا
Amsaynā wa amsal-mulku lillāhi rabbil-'ālamīn, Allāhumma innī as'aluka khayra hādhihil-laylah: fatḥahā, wa naṣrahā, wa nūrahā, wa barakatahā, wa hudāhā, wa a'ūdhu bika min sharri mā fīhā wa sharri mā ba'dahā.
We have entered the evening and the dominion belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds. O Allah, I ask You for the good of this night: its victory, its help, its light, its blessing and its guidance; and I seek refuge in You from the evil in it and the evil after it.
من أذكار الصباح والمساء المأثورة عن النبي ﷺ.
رواه أبو داودأَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
A'ūdhu bi-kalimātillāhit-tāmmāti min sharri mā khalaq.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
من قالها حين يمسي ثلاث مرات لم تضره حُمَة تلك الليلة.
رواه مسلم، والعدد عند الترمذي وأحمدقُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ، قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ، قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ — يَجْمَعُ كَفَّيْهِ وَيَنْفُثُ فِيهِمَا وَيَقْرَأُ، ثُمَّ يَمْسَحُ بِهِمَا مَا اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْ جَسَدِهِ، يَبْدَأُ بِهِمَا عَلَى رَأْسِهِ وَوَجْهِهِ وَمَا أَقْبَلَ مِنْ جَسَدِهِ
Qul huwa Allāhu aḥad, Qul a'ūdhu bi-rabbil-falaq, Qul a'ūdhu bi-rabbin-nās — cupping the palms, blowing lightly into them, reciting, then wiping over the body starting with the head and face.
Recite Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq and An-Nas; cup your palms, blow lightly into them and recite, then wipe your body as far as you can reach, starting with your head and face. Repeat three times.
كان النبي ﷺ يفعله كل ليلة إذا أوى إلى فراشه.
رواه البخاريأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
Allāhu lā ilāha illā huwa al-ḥayyu al-qayyūm, lā ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa lā nawm, lahu mā fis-samāwāti wa mā fil-arḍ, man dhā alladhī yashfa'u 'indahu illā bi-idhnih, ya'lamu mā bayna aydīhim wa mā khalfahum, wa lā yuḥīṭūna bi-shay'in min 'ilmihi illā bimā shā', wasi'a kursiyyuhus-samāwāti wal-arḍ, wa lā ya'ūduhu ḥifẓuhumā, wa huwal-'aliyyul-'aẓīm.
Allah — there is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and preserving them does not tire Him. He is the Most High, the Most Great.
من قرأها إذا أوى إلى فراشه لم يزل عليه من الله حافظ، ولا يقربه شيطان حتى يصبح.

Bismika rabbī waḍa'tu janbī, wa bika arfa'uh, fa-in amsakta nafsī farḥamhā, wa in arsaltahā faḥfaẓhā bimā taḥfaẓu bihi 'ibādakaṣ-ṣāliḥīn.
In Your name, my Lord, I lay down my side, and by You I raise it. If You take my soul, have mercy on it; and if You release it, protect it as You protect Your righteous servants.
من أذكار النوم الثابتة عن النبي ﷺ.
رواه البخاري ومسلماللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ خَلَقْتَ نَفْسِي وَأَنْتَ تَوَفَّاهَا، لَكَ مَمَاتُهَا وَمَحْيَاهَا، إِنْ أَحْيَيْتَهَا فَاحْفَظْهَا، وَإِنْ أَمَتَّهَا فَاغْفِرْ لَهَا، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ
Allāhumma innaka khalaqta nafsī wa anta tawaffāhā, laka mamātuhā wa maḥyāhā, in aḥyaytahā faḥfaẓhā, wa in amattahā faghfir lahā. Allāhumma innī as'alukal-'āfiyah.
O Allah, You created my soul and You will take it back; to You belong its death and its life. If You keep it alive, protect it; and if You cause it to die, forgive it. O Allah, I ask You for well-being.
من دعاء النبي ﷺ عند النوم.
رواه مسلماللَّهُمَّ قِنِي عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبَادَكَ
Allāhumma qinī 'adhābaka yawma tab'athu 'ibādak.
O Allah, protect me from Your punishment on the Day You resurrect Your servants.
كان النبي ﷺ إذا أراد أن ينام وضع يده اليمنى تحت خده ثم قال ذلك ثلاث مرات.
رواه أبو داود والترمذيبِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
Bismikallāhumma amūtu wa aḥyā.
In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.
كان النبي ﷺ يقولها إذا أراد أن ينام.
رواه البخاريالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا، وَكَفَانَا وَآوَانَا، فَكَمْ مِمَّنْ لَا كَافِيَ لَهُ وَلَا مُؤْوِيَ
Al-ḥamdu lillāhil-ladhī aṭ'amanā wa saqānā, wa kafānā wa āwānā, fakam mimman lā kāfiya lahu wa lā mu'wī.
All praise is for Allah who fed us, gave us drink, sufficed us and sheltered us — for how many have no one to suffice them or shelter them.
كان النبي ﷺ يقولها إذا أوى إلى فراشه.
رواه مسلماللَّهُمَّ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ، فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَلِيكَهُ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي، وَمِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشِرْكِهِ، وَأَنْ أَقْتَرِفَ عَلَى نَفْسِي سُوءًا أَوْ أَجُرَّهُ إِلَى مُسْلِمٍ
Allāhumma 'ālimal-ghaybi wash-shahādah, fāṭiras-samāwāti wal-arḍ, rabba kulli shay'in wa malīkah, ashhadu an lā ilāha illā ant, a'ūdhu bika min sharri nafsī, wa min sharrish-shayṭāni wa shirkih, wa an aqtarifa 'alā nafsī sū'an aw ajurrahu ilā muslim.
O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Lord and Sovereign of all things: I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my own soul, from the evil of Satan and his polytheism, and from doing wrong to myself or bringing it upon another Muslim.
أمر النبي ﷺ أبا بكر الصديق رضي الله عنه أن يقولها إذا أصبح وإذا أمسى وإذا أخذ مضجعه.
رواه أبو داود والترمذياللَّهُمَّ أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِي إِلَيْكَ، وَفَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِي إِلَيْكَ، وَوَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِي إِلَيْكَ، وَأَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي إِلَيْكَ، رَغْبَةً وَرَهْبَةً إِلَيْكَ، لَا مَلْجَأَ وَلَا مَنْجَا مِنْكَ إِلَّا إِلَيْكَ، آمَنْتُ بِكِتَابِكَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلْتَ، وَبِنَبِيِّكَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلْتَ
Allāhumma aslamtu nafsī ilayk, wa fawwaḍtu amrī ilayk, wa wajjahtu wajhī ilayk, wa alja'tu ẓahrī ilayk, raghbatan wa rahbatan ilayk, lā malja'a wa lā manjā minka illā ilayk, āmantu bi-kitābikal-ladhī anzalt, wa bi-nabiyyikal-ladhī arsalt.
O Allah, I submit myself to You, entrust my affairs to You, turn my face to You and rely upon You, out of hope and fear of You. There is no refuge or escape from You except to You. I believe in Your Book which You revealed and in Your Prophet whom You sent.
من قالها ثم مات من ليلته مات على الفطرة، وليجعلها آخر ما يتكلم به.
رواه البخاري ومسلمسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ
Subḥānallāh.

أوصى بها النبي ﷺ ابنته فاطمة وعليًّا رضي الله عنهما عند النوم، وهي خير لهما من خادم.

Al-ḥamdu lillāh.
All praise is for Allah. (33 times)
من التسبيح عند النوم: ٣٣ تسبيحة و٣٣ تحميدة و٣٤ تكبيرة.
رواه البخاري ومسلماللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
Allāhu akbar.
Allah is the Greatest. (34 times)
تمام المائة من تسبيح النوم.
رواه البخاري ومسلمإِذَا رَأَى أَحَدُكُمُ الرُّؤْيَا يُحِبُّهَا فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ مِنَ اللَّهِ، فَلْيَحْمَدِ اللَّهَ عَلَيْهَا وَلْيُحَدِّثْ بِهَا، وَإِذَا رَأَى غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ مِمَّا يَكْرَهُ فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ، فَلْيَسْتَعِذْ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَلَا يَذْكُرْهَا لِأَحَدٍ فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَضُرُّهُ
Idhā ra'ā aḥadukumur-ru'yā yuḥibbuhā fa-innamā hiya minallāh, falyaḥmadillāha 'alayhā walyuḥaddith bihā, wa idhā ra'ā ghayra dhālika mimmā yakrahu fa-innamā hiya minash-shayṭān, falyasta'idh min sharrihā wa lā yadhkurhā li-aḥad, fa-innahā lā taḍurruh.
If one of you sees a dream he likes, it is from Allah: let him praise Allah for it and tell it. If he sees something he dislikes, it is from Satan: let him seek refuge from its evil and not mention it to anyone, and it will not harm him.
أدب الرؤيا: وفي الرواية الأخرى يتفل عن يساره ثلاثًا ويتحول عن جنبه.
رواه البخاري ومسلمالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
Al-ḥamdu lillāhil-ladhī aḥyānā ba'da mā amātanā wa ilayhin-nushūr.
All praise is for Allah who gave us life after causing us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.
كان النبي ﷺ يقولها إذا استيقظ من نومه.
رواه البخاريلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu wa huwa 'alā kulli shay'in qadīr. Subḥānallāh, wal-ḥamdu lillāh, wa lā ilāha illallāh, wallāhu akbar, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh.
There is no god but Allah alone, without partner; His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things. Glory be to Allah, praise be to Allah, there is no god but Allah, Allah is the Greatest, and there is no power or might except with Allah.
من تعارَّ من الليل فقالها ثم دعا استُجيب له، فإن توضأ وصلى قُبلت صلاته.
رواه البخاريالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي عَافَانِي فِي جَسَدِي، وَرَدَّ عَلَيَّ رُوحِي، وَأَذِنَ لِي بِذِكْرِهِ
Al-ḥamdu lillāhil-ladhī 'āfānī fī jasadī, wa radda 'alayya rūḥī, wa adhina lī bi-dhikrih.
All praise is for Allah who restored my body to health, returned my soul to me, and permitted me to remember Him.
من أذكار الاستيقاظ المأثورة.
رواه الترمذيإِنَّ فِي خَلۡقِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱخۡتِلَٰفِ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّأُوْلِي ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَذۡكُرُونَ ٱللَّهَ قِيَٰمٗا وَقُعُودٗا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِهِمۡ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي خَلۡقِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقۡتَ هَٰذَا بَٰطِلٗا سُبۡحَٰنَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ مَن تُدۡخِلِ ٱلنَّارَ فَقَدۡ أَخۡزَيۡتَهُۥۖ وَمَا لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ مِنۡ أَنصَارٖ رَّبَّنَآ إِنَّنَا سَمِعۡنَا مُنَادِيٗا يُنَادِي لِلۡإِيمَٰنِ أَنۡ ءَامِنُواْ بِرَبِّكُمۡ فَـَٔامَنَّاۚ رَبَّنَا فَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرۡ عَنَّا سَيِّـَٔاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارِ رَبَّنَا وَءَاتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَىٰ رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخۡزِنَا يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۖ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخۡلِفُ ٱلۡمِيعَادَ فَٱسۡتَجَابَ لَهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ أَنِّي لَآ أُضِيعُ عَمَلَ عَٰمِلٖ مِّنكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوۡ أُنثَىٰۖ بَعۡضُكُم مِّنۢ بَعۡضٖۖ فَٱلَّذِينَ هَاجَرُواْ وَأُخۡرِجُواْ مِن دِيَٰرِهِمۡ وَأُوذُواْ فِي سَبِيلِي وَقَٰتَلُواْ وَقُتِلُواْ لَأُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنۡهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡ وَلَأُدۡخِلَنَّهُمۡ جَنَّٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ ثَوَابٗا مِّنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَٱللَّهُ عِندَهُۥ حُسۡنُ ٱلثَّوَابِ لَا يَغُرَّنَّكَ تَقَلُّبُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي ٱلۡبِلَٰدِ مَتَٰعٞ قَلِيلٞ ثُمَّ مَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ لَٰكِنِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوۡاْ رَبَّهُمۡ لَهُمۡ جَنَّٰتٞ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا نُزُلٗا مِّنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِۗ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيۡرٞ لِّلۡأَبۡرَارِ وَإِنَّ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَمَن يُؤۡمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكُمۡ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡهِمۡ خَٰشِعِينَ لِلَّهِ لَا يَشۡتَرُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ ثَمَنٗا قَلِيلًاۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ أَجۡرُهُمۡ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَرِيعُ ٱلۡحِسَابِ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱصۡبِرُواْ وَصَابِرُواْ وَرَابِطُواْ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ

The last ten verses of Surat Aal Imran (3:190–200), recited upon waking at night.
كان النبي ﷺ إذا قام من الليل قرأ العشر الآيات الأواخر من آل عمران.
آل عمران ١٩٠–٢٠٠ · رواه البخاري ومسلمأَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ. اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ، تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ
Astaghfirullāh (×3). Allāhumma antas-salām wa minkas-salām, tabārakta yā dhal-jalāli wal-ikrām.
I seek forgiveness from Allah (three times). O Allah, You are Peace and from You comes peace; blessed are You, O Possessor of majesty and honour.
كان النبي ﷺ إذا انصرف من صلاته استغفر ثلاثًا ثم قال ذلك.
رواه مسلملَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، اللَّهُمَّ لَا مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ، وَلَا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ، وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ
Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu wa huwa 'alā kulli shay'in qadīr. Allāhumma lā māni'a limā a'ṭayt, wa lā mu'ṭiya limā mana't, wa lā yanfa'u dhal-jaddi minkal-jadd.
There is no god but Allah alone, without partner; His is the dominion and the praise, and He has power over all things. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, none can give what You withhold, and no wealth or status benefits its owner against You.
كان النبي ﷺ يقولها دبر كل صلاة مكتوبة.
رواه البخاري ومسلمسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ
Subḥānallāh.
Glory be to Allah. (33 times)
من سبّح الله دبر كل صلاة ثلاثًا وثلاثين وحمد ثلاثًا وثلاثين وكبّر ثلاثًا وثلاثين، وقال تمام المائة: لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له… غُفرت خطاياه وإن كانت مثل زبد البحر.
رواه مسلمالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
Al-ḥamdu lillāh.
All praise is for Allah. (33 times)
يُقال بعد التسبيح، ضمن التسبيحات الثلاث والثلاثين.
رواه مسلماللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
Allāhu akbar.
Allah is the Greatest. (33 times)
ثم يتمّ المائة بقول: لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير.
رواه مسلمأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
Allāhu lā ilāha illā huwa al-ḥayyu al-qayyūm, lā ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa lā nawm, lahu mā fis-samāwāti wa mā fil-arḍ, man dhā alladhī yashfa'u 'indahu illā bi-idhnih, ya'lamu mā bayna aydīhim wa mā khalfahum, wa lā yuḥīṭūna bi-shay'in min 'ilmihi illā bimā shā', wasi'a kursiyyuhus-samāwāti wal-arḍ, wa lā ya'ūduhu ḥifẓuhumā, wa huwal-'aliyyul-'aẓīm.
Allah — there is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and preserving them does not tire Him. He is the Most High, the Most Great.
من قرأها دبر كل صلاة مكتوبة لم يمنعه من دخول الجنة إلا أن يموت.
آية الكرسي — البقرة ٢٥٥ · رواه النسائي في الكبرىبِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ
Qul huwa Allāhu aḥad. Allāhuṣ-ṣamad. Lam yalid wa lam yūlad. Wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan aḥad.
Say: He is Allah, the One. Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born. And there is none comparable to Him.
أمر النبي ﷺ عقبة بن عامر أن يقرأ المعوذات دبر كل صلاة.
سورة الإخلاص · رواه أبو داود والترمذي والنسائيبِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
Qul a'ūdhu bi-rabbil-falaq. Min sharri mā khalaq. Wa min sharri ghāsiqin idhā waqab. Wa min sharrin-naffāthāti fil-'uqad. Wa min sharri ḥāsidin idhā ḥasad.
Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak, from the evil of what He has created, from the evil of darkness when it settles, from the evil of those who blow on knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies.
أمر النبي ﷺ عقبة بن عامر أن يقرأ المعوذات دبر كل صلاة.
سورة الفلق · رواه أبو داود والترمذي والنسائيبِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ
Qul a'ūdhu bi-rabbin-nās. Malikin-nās. Ilāhin-nās. Min sharril-waswāsil-khannās. Alladhī yuwaswisu fī ṣudūrin-nās. Minal-jinnati wan-nās.
Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the King of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the retreating whisperer, who whispers in the hearts of mankind, from among the jinn and mankind.
أمر النبي ﷺ عقبة بن عامر أن يقرأ المعوذات دبر كل صلاة.
سورة الناس · رواه أبو داود والترمذي والنسائياللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
Allāhumma a'innī 'alā dhikrika wa shukrika wa ḥusni 'ibādatik.
O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You well.
أوصى النبي ﷺ معاذ بن جبل ألّا يدعها دبر كل صلاة.
رواه أبو داود والنسائيبِسْمِ اللَّهِ
Bismillāh.
In the name of Allah. (Before eating)
إذا نسي أن يذكر الله في أوله فليقل: بسم الله أوله وآخره.
رواه أبو داود والترمذيبِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَوَّلَهُ وَآخِرَهُ
Bismillāhi awwalahu wa ākhirah.
In the name of Allah at its beginning and at its end. (If you forgot to say Bismillah at the start.)
يقولها من نسي التسمية في أول الطعام.
رواه أبو داود والترمذيالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنِي هَذَا وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ
Al-ḥamdu lillāhil-ladhī aṭ'amanī hādhā wa razaqanīhi min ghayri ḥawlin minnī wa lā quwwah.
All praise is for Allah who fed me this and provided it for me, without any power or strength from me.
من قالها بعد الطعام غُفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه.
رواه أبو داود والترمذيالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ، غَيْرَ مَكْفِيٍّ وَلَا مُوَدَّعٍ وَلَا مُسْتَغْنًى عَنْهُ رَبَّنَا
Al-ḥamdu lillāhi ḥamdan kathīran ṭayyiban mubārakan fīh, ghayra makfiyyin wa lā muwadda'in wa lā mustaghnan 'anhu rabbanā.
All praise is for Allah — abundant, pure and blessed praise — a praise that is never enough, never abandoned and never done without, our Lord.
كان النبي ﷺ يقولها إذا رُفعت المائدة.
رواه البخارياللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيهِ وَزِدْنَا مِنْهُ
Allāhumma bārik lanā fīhi wa zidnā minh.
O Allah, bless us in it and give us more of it. (When drinking milk)
من أطعمه الله طعامًا فليقل: اللهم بارك لنا فيه وأطعمنا خيرًا منه، ومن سقاه لبنًا فليقل هذا.
رواه الترمذي وأبو داوداللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِيمَا رَزَقْتَهُمْ، وَاغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَارْحَمْهُمْ
Allāhumma bārik lahum fīmā razaqtahum, waghfir lahum warḥamhum.
O Allah, bless them in what You have provided for them, forgive them and have mercy on them. (A guest’s prayer for the host)
دعاء الضيف لمن أطعمه.
رواه مسلمذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
Dhahabaẓ-ẓama'u wabtallatil-'urūqu wa thabatal-ajru in shā' Allāh.
The thirst has gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills. (At breaking the fast)
كان النبي ﷺ إذا أفطر قال ذلك.
رواه أبو داوداللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ، وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ فِي سَفَرِنَا هَذَا الْبِرَّ وَالتَّقْوَى، وَمِنَ الْعَمَلِ مَا تَرْضَى، اللَّهُمَّ هَوِّنْ عَلَيْنَا سَفَرَنَا هَذَا وَاطْوِ عَنَّا بُعْدَهُ، اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الصَّاحِبُ فِي السَّفَرِ وَالْخَلِيفَةُ فِي الْأَهْلِ
Allāhu akbar (×3). Subḥānal-ladhī sakhkhara lanā hādhā wa mā kunnā lahu muqrinīn, wa innā ilā rabbinā lamunqalibūn. Allāhumma innā nas'aluka fī safarinā hādhal-birra wat-taqwā, wa minal-'amali mā tarḍā. Allāhumma hawwin 'alaynā safaranā hādhā waṭwi 'annā bu'dah. Allāhumma antaṣ-ṣāḥibu fis-safari wal-khalīfatu fil-ahl.
Allah is the Greatest (three times). Glory to Him who has subjected this to us, and we could not have subdued it ourselves; and to our Lord we shall return. O Allah, we ask You on this journey for righteousness and piety and for deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and shorten its distance. O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Guardian of the family.
كان النبي ﷺ إذا استوى على بعيره خارجًا إلى سفر كبّر ثلاثًا ثم قال ذلك.
رواه مسلماللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ وَعْثَاءِ السَّفَرِ، وَكَآبَةِ الْمَنْظَرِ، وَسُوءِ الْمُنْقَلَبِ فِي الْمَالِ وَالْأَهْلِ
Allāhumma innī a'ūdhu bika min wa'thā'is-safar, wa ka'ābatil-manẓar, wa sū'il-munqalabi fil-māli wal-ahl.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of travel, from a sorrowful sight, and from an ill return in wealth and family.
يُقال مع دعاء السفر، وكان النبي ﷺ يزيده.
رواه مسلمآيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ عَابِدُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ
Āyibūna tā'ibūna 'ābidūna li-rabbinā ḥāmidūn.
We return, repenting, worshipping, and praising our Lord. (On returning from a journey)
كان النبي ﷺ يقولها إذا رجع من سفره.
رواه مسلمأَسْتَوْدِعُكُمُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا تَضِيعُ وَدَائِعُهُ
Astawdi'ukumullāhal-ladhī lā taḍī'u wadā'i'uh.
I entrust you to Allah, whose trusts are never lost. (To those staying behind)
من قالها لمن يودّعه حفظه الله.
رواه أحمد وابن ماجهأَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
A'ūdhu bi-kalimātillāhit-tāmmāti min sharri mā khalaq.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He created. (When stopping at a place)
من نزل منزلًا فقالها لم يضره شيء حتى يرتحل من منزله ذلك.
رواه مسلماللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي قَلْبِي نُورًا، وَفِي لِسَانِي نُورًا، وَفِي سَمْعِي نُورًا، وَفِي بَصَرِي نُورًا، وَمِنْ فَوْقِي نُورًا، وَمِنْ تَحْتِي نُورًا، وَعَنْ يَمِينِي نُورًا، وَعَنْ شِمَالِي نُورًا، وَمِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ نُورًا، وَمِنْ خَلْفِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ لِي نُورًا
Allāhummaj'al fī qalbī nūrā, wa fī lisānī nūrā, wa fī sam'ī nūrā, wa fī baṣarī nūrā, wa min fawqī nūrā, wa min taḥtī nūrā, wa 'an yamīnī nūrā, wa 'an shimālī nūrā, wa min bayni yadayya nūrā, wa min khalfī nūrā, waj'al lī nūrā.
O Allah, place light in my heart, light in my tongue, light in my hearing and light in my sight; light above me and light below me; light on my right and light on my left; light before me and light behind me; and grant me light.
من دعاء النبي ﷺ حين خرج إلى صلاة الفجر.
رواه البخاري ومسلمأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ، وَبِوَجْهِهِ الْكَرِيمِ، وَسُلْطَانِهِ الْقَدِيمِ، مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ. بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ. اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ
A'ūdhu billāhil-'aẓīm, wa bi-wajhihil-karīm, wa sulṭānihil-qadīm, minash-shayṭānir-rajīm. Bismillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu was-salāmu 'alā rasūlillāh. Allāhummaftaḥ lī abwāba raḥmatik.
I seek refuge in Allah the Magnificent, in His noble Face and His eternal authority, from the accursed Satan. In the name of Allah, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy. (Entering the mosque, right foot first)
يُقدَّم الرِّجل اليمنى عند الدخول.
رواه أبو داود ومسلمبِسْمِ اللَّهِ، وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ. اللَّهُمَّ اعْصِمْنِي مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
Bismillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu was-salāmu 'alā rasūlillāh. Allāhumma innī as'aluka min faḍlik. Allāhumma'ṣimnī minash-shayṭānir-rajīm.
In the name of Allah, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, I ask You of Your bounty. O Allah, protect me from the accursed Satan. (Leaving the mosque, left foot first)
يُقدَّم الرِّجل اليسرى عند الخروج.
رواه مسلم وابن ماجهيَقُولُ مِثْلَ مَا يَقُولُ الْمُؤَذِّنُ، إِلَّا فِي «حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ» وَ«حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ» يَقُولُ: لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
Repeat what the muezzin says, except at “ḥayya 'alaṣ-ṣalāh” and “ḥayya 'alal-falāḥ” say “lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh”.
Repeat after the muezzin, except at “Come to prayer” and “Come to success”, say: “There is no power or might except with Allah.”
إذا سمعتم النداء فقولوا مثل ما يقول المؤذن.
رواه البخاري ومسلماللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ، وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ، آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ، وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ
Allāhumma rabba hādhihid-da'watit-tāmmah, waṣ-ṣalātil-qā'imah, āti Muḥammadanil-wasīlata wal-faḍīlah, wab'athhu maqāman maḥmūdanil-ladhī wa'adtah.
O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and of the prayer to be established, grant Muhammad the intercession and the favour, and raise him to the praised station which You have promised him. (After the adhan)
من قالها حين يسمع النداء حلّت له شفاعتي يوم القيامة.
